Eat, Pray, Run - the birth of

I've dabbled in blogging before...
Well, that is to say; I have other blogs that I rarely keep up with, and that are more of an informative blog for my family.
But life has handed me a pretty big platter, and I'm going to need a way to keep it all together- so I figured, why not?  I will start a blog, and hope that in keeping up with the blog I will:
a.) keep my sanity
b.) keep track of the craziness of life and
c.) maybe help someone else along their way.

So I guess every good blog needs a good "about me" section- Here we go!

I chose the name "Eat, Pray, Run" because it really defines some of the big things I love to do, and will most likely blog about.

Eat -I love to eat - but I won't eat just anything; and it has to be something fabulous for me to want to eat it multiple times.  The truth is, I love to cook - but "Cook, pray, run" just wasn't as catchy.
I love to cook anything and everything.  I'm always trying new recipes, rarely cooking the same recipes twice (other than a few basic staples), and I love to have people over to try out the fabulous recipes I find.  I pour a lot of love and heart into everything I cook, and I love to be able to share that with others- hopefully with you too!!

Pray- My faith is HUGE in my life.  I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ with all that I am.  I am far from perfect, but I hope to share the light of Christ with all those whom I may come in contact with- because I know that He loves everyone and I want to share that love with all.
That being said, I'm not going to shove it down your throat.  I hope you will read it, but if you just want to ready about fabulous recipes or crazy running stories, that won't hurt my feelings in the least!

Run - I have recently re-discovered my love of running.  I have, as they say, "Caught the bug", and will hopefully continue with this love and share some of my running adventures and advice with you.

I have a wonderful husband (Whom we shall call Mr.H)  who puts up with my craziness (and even encourages it at times).  We have been married for 6 years- I will not lie to you and say that they have all been wonderful, because there have been times when I have wanted to go running for the hills, or just stuff him in a bag and bury him. But I love him, boy oh boy, do I love him.  And I swore I would love him for time and all eternity, and that is going to happen whether he likes it or not!!  ;-)
We have 2 fabulous children together (whom shall be known as LBean and JDog)- who, admittedly, I want to sell to the gypsies some days, but like my husband, I will love them forever, for always, and no matter what
I have just recently been called as a Young Women's President in my ward- so I'm sure I will share some of our fabulous ideas/ mistakes/musings with all of you as well.  This is a very scary endeavor for me.  I've been serving in the Relief Society up until now, and I'll be honest, the teenager thing kinda scares me! But I'm excited, and I can't wait to see what fun we will have.

So welcome to Eat, Pray, Run- I'm sure we will have a wonderful journey together!

Love,
Me!
